6th May - Exploring Rainforests
Today at Home Ed group we started learning about rainforests. After a brilliant introduction and locating where rainforests exist in the world, the children got to try some experiments and do some crafts.
Finished off with a chocolate fondu using fruits and chocolate from the rainforest.
James is trying to recreate the rainforest cloud/mist.
Gracie is making a parrot craft.
They had great fun with the sensory tray, and had to find as many bugs and insects as they could hiding in the forest floor.
This experiment was learning about carbon dioxcide and it's affects in the rainforest.
