Continuing with learning about The Great Fire of London. James and Gracie took turns to be reporters and characters in the story.

Science:
Melting and looking at the affects of heat on different materials.
They chopped up wax and melted it and once it was liquid they plunged it in icy water to return it to solid.
These are 'shrinkies', after being coloured they went in the oven for a few minutes until they had reduced in size.
Hama beads melt when ironed.
They then explored the affects of heat on cloth and did a spot of ironing!!
